A great journey begins with a small step.
Proving this statement true, it all began in 1995 when a man took up a noble initiative. In the babupeth locality of Chandrapur, Mr. P. S. Ambatkar started a primary School. It was a single floor, two-room centre with 20 children. That humble beginning today has become an integral part of the main campus of Paramount Convent. It can be proudly stated that Maharashtra Shikshan Prasarak Mandal was founded originally as initiative by Mr. P. S. Ambatkar the rest is History.

Profile Summary: I am Dr Gajula Nagaraju, Principal & Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at Somayya Pharmacy College, Wadgaon, Chandrapur, Maharashtra.
I have more than 16 years of experience in the fields of teaching, research and academic administration. I have done Ph.D. in Chemistry on the topic ‘Oxadiazole & Thiadiazole Derivatives’. My specialisation is in Pharmaceutical Organic chemistry. I am supervising two PhD D scholars. I have published more than 80(Eighty) papers in national, International Journals and Scopus-indexed journals. I have participated in many seminars, symposiums, and conventions. I am a speaker in Faculty development programmes and organised a national conference at the university. I authored 2(two) textbooks.
